A STREET NEAR THE SCHOOL IN MRAMOR IS SPRINKLED WITH GRAVEL

In the village of Mramor the planning of work of the access road next to the forward department of elementary school "Desanka Maksimovic" began. Children from the village will no longer trample mud when they enter the school yard. The works were visited by President of municipality of Palilula Boban Džunić with associates.

Palilula municipality is the most populated one and of the largest urban municipalities in Niš, but the living standard of the population is at the very bottom in Serbia, said the president of municipality Boban Džunić. Road infrastructure, water and sewage networks, transportation of  people, care for the elderly, improving agricultural productivity are just some of the activities in cooperation with the citizens that we are exercising.

"In solving problems in the villages in the territory of Palilula, we have started with Mramor -pointed President Džunić. We have arranged for part of the canal beside the road, which was threatened by sewage. We observed that part of the road near the school which is in a poor condition. We immediately set out to solve the problem. This action will remove the dirt layer, the surface will be covered with suitable material, and I hope that we will provide and pave the streets. According to Zoran Djordjevic, president of the Citizens Council in Mramor, it would mean a lot to the inhabitants of this settlement if the school in the future becomes an eight-year period, because there are a lot of children from the surrounding villages who would come to school in Mramor and would not go to a Cokot, Novo Selo, a settlement Milka Protic or Ledena Stena. But it is a process that is ongoing and resolved by the competent authorities of the city and county and we are very grateful to the municipality that we solved one problem-regulation approach to school.
